Changbal conference aims to bring together Korean IT professionals in greater Seattle area with the goal of mutual growth and networking. Last year, the first annual conference was a successful gathering of more than 150 people with many great sessions and networking opportunity, and we are excited to host the annual conference again this October.
We invited prominent speakers who can provide insights into the ever-changing field of IT and how we should grow professionally in respective area.
There will be a variety of discussions and workshops where participants can learn and connect to each other. After the conference, we will also host social hours in a local restaurant.
This event will be open to the general public and we will invite IT professionals in the area, which will benefit the community at large and enable Changbal to extend its reach.
Changbal Society started in 2014 as a forum where like-minded Koreans and Korean American professionals involved in technology in Seattle area can learn, network and grow together.
During the past three years, we’ve been hosting about 50 seminars and events as a means to achieve such goal, and we have grown to about 400 members from major IT companies, startups or research organizations.
We’ve come to realize that we are filling an important need for Korean IT professionals, and organizing this conference is our way to grow our reach and benefit the community.
